    Lower Ball Joint Extension's

Here's a link to an old thread i found just wondering if anyone is running these? and if so were to you purchase them from......Looks like the only way to get a mach 1 slammed while maintaining almost stock suspension angle for you lower control arm.Would make for an awesome ride combined with strutt spacers/and flipped tie rod ends up front

    Hi there,

I am running these, I actually have Valvers old set. I flipped the tie rods in conjunction and everything is level. Mind you my car isn't ridiculously slammed or anything. I did change a few things at the same time as this such as a 4 point lower brace, and larger sway bars, so its impossible to isolate the handling difference from just the extenders, but the car is definitely sharper, more stable and less bumpsteer.

found them not cheap though (a good thing considering its your front end)
www.PMWltd.com .....here's some pics of their work looks like quality stuff

and their double A arm set up

these guys also do the flip kit for tie rod ends for anyone intereseted
These will also work made for Aircooled beetles and are 20 bucks cheaper

im halfway through getting some machined from 4140

they are longer than the pmw ones as my car will be super low and has enough room in the wheel to accommodate a little more drop/seperation

They look good Alex how much are you extending by?........i really need to get off the computer just found these 2'' drop plates for the rear look nice and easy to make too this combined with 2'' balljoint extensions would make for an almost stock quality ride 4'' drop would be easily obtained combined with coils and front strutt spacer
Might get some of these drop plates laser cut if anyone is interested ...

my extenders are a full 50mm of raise
i will be doing a run of drop plates for a few people soon, remember that the wheel is still going to have full travel when using drop plates so serious tyre scrubbage can become an issue

You could run an extra bump stop to alleviate this..

I reckon alex would call you soft if you did that Preeny... Scrubbing is like religion to him.
