Looking good! Mk1s look so mean with no bumpers

Any clues as to what the new front brake set up will be?

I agree about no bumpers but I couldn't bring myself to do it on the road.

As for the brakes, I'll be on a pretty predictable and well worn path.

Looking very nice Mick. keep up the good work, this car is a stunner!
Would like to see what the action is with the front brakes now and what the custom work is that made you swap out the big brakes!

    Thanks Anton.

These are the long game on the custom front end work

SCCH state that they are not compatible with the TSR kit unfortunately. I think it is to do with the design of the lower joint being slightly different profile to the OEM one.

    And as for the brakes...

So thing have come to a standstill. There is a 6 week delay on my brakes arriving which is fine, but obviously would have preferred to be able to drive her about sooner.

The ECU arrived which is nice, so I am thinking about using this time to remove the engine and fiddle about with what is going on in the bay.

In other news either I have stretched my clutch cable on the Type 3 or the clutch is shagged as today it bound up and I could not get it in to 1/2 or R, just horrible gnashing sound. I am out of adjustment on the cable so it has been removed. It had 1 strand broken so it is getting replaced as well as the bowden tube and seal I am hoping this fixes it, otherwise I am up for a new clutch!
