Top work!
Put the Ronals back on too? (in the background)
I feel I'm repeating myself but it's almost time for the front brakes to go on - second time lucky.
The suspension is all back together, flip kit and ball joint extenders installed, and a touch of paint on the discs so the dont look terrible and rusty in 5 minutes.

80 series - The MK2's BIG, Sooty, polar opposite...
HAHAHA
Heat proof caliper paint - its only a light coating just to prevent cosmetic oxidizing - not sure how well it will work (obviously it won't remain on the braking surface) so we will see.
Well a major part of the vision has finally been realised this weekend.
Now to focus on the next milestone!

Those seats looks unreal !!!
Well as it turns out neither the BBS or Ronals clear the calipers as a direct bolt up...
Trials continue.
Thanks. Everything you see is either new or retrimmed - it is like sitting in a brand new car at the moment!
The only thing left to work out is how to get the parcel shelf supports to sit correctly, there must be variations between earlier and late model bodywork or supports - so need to do some dremelling to make that work properly.
Selling the old 16v and gearbox very soon as well. Time for new beginnings!

Seems like I keep going around in circles, but every time I pull it apart it goes back together better than the time before. All the details are coming together nicely...
RHS hub has been sorted and refitted. Situation is, the stance is spot on now...
And more of the interior. Door cards were fitted up and along with some fettling on the parts that all seem to use different standards despite all stating they fit a MK1 - door hardware on as well.
