    I'd be paying for a new house for Alex G I'd say if this were the case!

    I really don't think that a 20vt is what I feel the mk1 deserves. Needing something a bit more raw.

    All the same next up on my list is interior and floor pan repairs work.

    You can see the props inside the rear window. What they are is a pivot bracket connected to the hatch and another connected to the inside of the window frame. Theses are clamped together with 2 large washers, if you replace the nut on these with a wingnut or carry a spanner, you can lock them off at any angle... Only problem is intense fumigation!
