    Had to bump.

Super clean man. Gives me motivation to pull everything out and do it again.

What brakes are your running and do you have any pics of the wire tuck?

Just recently i saw my old beige gld forsale i was like man i want it back, this pretty much put me back in the market for a 2nd mk1 again. Funnily enough i found a gem!!!! Firstly she is a one owner with 92000kms on the clock with the original service book filled out and stamped!!! has every single receipt from 1977 till now documented even the original purchase receipt. Factory fitted air conditioning to boot she is a very tidy machine i didn't think id pick one up so clean not needing work .

Looks to be a nice unit Andrew.

Unfortunately the aircon is a dealer fitted item, VW never marketed any of the Mk1 bodied vehicles with factory RH aircon set up. The airbox for the factory aircon unit impedes the left leg position if used for RHD vehicles.

Even our 93 cabrio ( rhd) had some locally made garbage they tried to pass of as airconditioning !! prob runs at about 15% efficiency.

When is the 16V going to be up and running ??
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,
    Grant...
