Corrado seat rails to fit MK1 Golf?

hey guys, been in contact with some people trying to source seat rails for my recaro's...and it looks as though the seat rails from a corrado will fit a MK1? (and also to my seats). It appears that the measurements are they same...but just wondering if anyone has some knowledge of whether this is correct before i spend the money

    cheers, michael.

I have a mk2, so I have that series corrado seats, unmodded in them. Fit straight in. Just be advised that you will be sitting VERY low in the car!!

so I've read, due to differences in the dash positions... it is ok to drive or frustratingly low?

Depends what position you have the seat in. I'd like it low, but the tilt on the seat is too much. Raise it up and it almost feels like you are falling off the front of the seat. It's the one major gripe I have with VW. Al their seats do it. Even my mk6!
