    International shipping

    Hi guys,
    looking at getting some wheels in from the uk for my mk1 project. anyone ever shipped anything over or know of cheap shipping company.

    basically its never cheap, i ship stuff in all the time internationally, waiting on packages now actually..

    wheels i have done, depending on how big and how heavy id say they could be anywhere up to 600 dollars in shipping to Australia, I bought wheels from germany before cost me nearly 2000 to buy them, get them here and pay the duty...

    Its not cheap i had a guy in Aus organize it for me, also be careful make sure the guy on the other end does pack them nicely seen a few stories of damaged wheels in shipping not fun when you pay $$$$$ for them.

    also, make sure you arrange door-to-door freight, otherwise you end up having to go through the local customs clearance process yourself here

    through the web on a site called transglobal express.. ill be ringing DHL direct before booking tho to double check all is good.
