    Interior Fan

Just wanted to know if anyone is intending on putting an interior fan in their MK1's over the summer, or if anyone already has one put in?

Im pretty sure Dom, you already got one.

    Where to get one from?
    Where to mount?

Just plug into the cigarette lighter?

Need to get ready for this summer. Its going to be sizzling!
    Thanks in advance

I doubt a fan will make any difference under hot sun. Mk1 is for fun, not for comfort.

There is an AC for sale at the moment in the for sales section, they are pretty bulky though. Not sure if they work well or not.

If you do install it, make sure you get a rotary compressor to run it. You will probably need one if the gas is not approved anymore, but they also draw less power from the engine when the AC is on.

Also make sure your cooling system can cope as the condensor will throw a lot of heat into the engine bay while it works.
