Post Inter-changeable suspension from other cars

    Hey guys,

All 4 of my springs are compressed as to make the mk1 lower. However there is a lot of play inbetween the springs and the shock obsorbers.

My question is if there is any obsorbers from other cars that are the same fitment as a mk1. Im looking for the shock obsorber to be shorter, so it fits the compressed springs perfectly, without any play.

Im pretty sure i've seen a FTO's rear suspension, and it looked similar.
    Any other ideas?

    Suppose,

But if i've already got the low springs, and it only cost me 2-300 to get the shocks going, why not?

Seat Ibiza shocks & springs are suitable for the rears. Using early mk2 golf hubs you can use the fronts.
