Hope you have not done something to the head that you cannot see. Sometimes you do have to resort to the Irish spanner, but the trick is knowing how hard to hit AND where to hit :-D

How do people usually plug the injector holes when there going from injection to carby????
I gotta swing past Peter, check it out
On Josh's car we unscrewed the injector holders and dropped coins in there with a bit of silastic and screwed the injector holders back down.
I think 5c pieces were the right size, maybe10c.
On one of my heads I left some old injectors in there and sealed up the fuel line connection on the injector.
Some companies that sell carby kits sell dummy injectors to block off the ports.
Another head I have has had the ports filled with epoxy metal.
I've seen them welded up too.
Another way that works really well is to use gearbox drain plugs, they screw straight in in place of the injector holders. The kind with the 17mm hex.
Or you could just leave the injectors in if they are still around
