    inner CV boot replacement

as the title says, i need to replace one of the inner boots on my(son's) cabby.
is there anything unique in the procedure, i understand the outer cv has to be
pulled apart first. iv'e googled and searched the forum, but can't find any info
    on inner ones.

The inner CV is pretty simple. Just unbolt the splined bolts that hold it to the drive flange. You will then need to either unbolt the balljoint so you can swing the hub out and drop the driveshaft or take the whole drive shaft out.

Once you have the inner CV dangling from the car or out on the bench, just undo the circlip that holds the joint to the shaft and bobs your uncle.

awesome, thanks for that. mighty glad i don't have to stuff around and disassemble the outer one to get at it.
    cheers
