info on stud conversion and interior.

Hey guys, just got my new 1977 Mk1 and decided id like to update the interior a bit, what can be swapped into them?
also, i have a wicked set of wheels from my toyota days which are 4x114.3 but obviously Mk1's are 4x100, what can i do to fit them, and redrilling isnt an option.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
    cheers, Alistair.

My '76 has a Polo dash and polo seats, seats are ok but dash is a bit grotty. I've seen anything from Audi to Porsche dashes and interiors!

It all depends on how much time and petience you have I reckon, Plus you have to take into account wiring connections and size of dash obviously. As for actual specific interiors you'd have to work it out yourself based on what you were after I think. Have a look online for ideas maybe? That Mk1 pic post on Vortex is full of pics you could trawl through for ideas.

Tried looking for adapters for the wheels on ebay?

I've got a mk2 dash in mine, and i think thats the best option IMO as it is more or less a straight fit, and lets face it mk2 dash's are freaking awesome
As for the wheels yes, as mentioned above wheel adapters will be needed. I've wanted to do the same conversion and i remember looking into it a while back. If you are after top quality wheel adapters that you know wont fail you, i beleive they were ~$400 from the states. The place was in the states that does them, but the name escapes me.

Alistair if you cant find a dash then you could always get yours flocked! Loads of places in Vic will do it. Old school rally style. I've always wanted a flocked dash, I think they use Alacantra now though, doesn't go bald like flocking can.

yeah flocking could actually be a swell idea, might look into it.
i had a quick skim through ebay australia and could only find some dodgy looking spacers, couldnt even figure out how it would convert the stud pattern, they looked slip on....

    look up adaptec.

although, I have a feeling that the corolla wheel will be very low offset, and the adapters would push the wheels out beyond rediculous.

I'm pretty sure that the 114.3 doesn't properly fit onto a mk 1 hub, so drilling a mk 1 hub, really isn't an option.

well, those wheels will stick out a good 30+mm already, let alone getting 20mm adapters.

Sorry, time to look for some new wheels mate!

there's a shed load on ebay man, I've been searching just 4x100 rims and 4x100 wheels and not getting much back. but if you just type in 14' wheel and 15' wheel you get 100's of hits but you have to trawl through the pics and find the ones that are 4 stud and then you usually have to email the seller and ask them to tell you the full pcd and the offset by reading off the back of the rim (if your lucky enough for it to be visible there - or for them not to be fully retarded.

Theres literally at least 10 decent sets in Victoria that I've seen in the last few days.

I just found these in Brizzy...

[/COLOR]edit*** 14" and 15" wheels, not 14' and 15' wheels, that would be ridiculous...
