FI is good but for that classic, old car sound that puts chills down your spine you can't beat twin carbies.

Plus they look awesome every time you open the bonnet.

You can say that again! Very cool. Under the bonnet of my car it's very busy. With a/c and when the callaway is installed it's quite full under the hood.
For some reason my old photos work. This photo was from many years ago. It still had the original paint but it was fading and I decided to do a respray and fix up the interior a bit. Hated to do it but was necessary for my driving enjoyment in the future. It's rare to see one with no rust at all.

Anyway... the Engine compartment is ugly and busy. Not like yours... clean and sleek.

Hold on. This is a Callaway Golf.

No wonder you never sold it.

Now you really have to post more pictures - lots more.

    Ok!!!

I took the motor apart and the grease seal looks like it popped off the bearing on the motor end shaft a long time ago. I pressed out the bearing, packed it full of axle grease and used a tiny bit of permatex to hold the grease seal in place and put it back together. Brushes look good and the bearing had no pitting. It works with no noise now. I decided that if I am forced to do something with it in the future I will retrofit one of these with their slimline fans with matching shroud.

But for now I will keep rocking what works.
