im running fk highsport silverlines on my mk1 golf and theyre really good, fairly low and not crashy unless you go polies as well but they should be swapped out for the FK konigsport silverlines which are the ones with the koni inserts. If you ARE going Fk id definately recomend the silverline high sports as a medium budget coil, mines have been on for three years now and are still a 'wipe down' and adjust

Cheers for the input. I havn't really considered FKs before, but I might need to if they've got koni's in them (and are adjustable as well)

its only the konigsports that have koni inserts hence the name afaik and yes theyre adjustable,id have to pull the box out to see if theyre top adjustable or off the car adjustable only but the highsport silverlines im running just now are great, probably a better bet also if you want to run it mega slammed as konigs on a decked car are pointless not due to detrimental handling but if you bottom them out you ruin the valving that makes them adjustable. Im restricted to 15s through my 285mm brakes so im never going to be really low anyway but I still run fairly low if im on the winter skinnies and they still get you round a corner pretty decent

Just thought I'd update this, as of today, the cabby is officially registered in my name, all roadworthy etc.

Also got my tax back, so I'm start looking more seriously into various suspension options.

Need to save up for a minor service, and tune & create a list of things to do!

Drives quite nicely though, overall I'm pretty impressed with it, a few niggling things that need to be fix though.. (hence the list of things to do)

Things to do: (no particular order)
    -Service.
    -Fix rattles.
    -Get replacement/repair front seats.
    -Touch up/repaint clipper kit.
    -Fix electrical gremlins.
-Check brake system for proper function (improve pedal feel!)
    -Replace roof.
    -Coils & wheels?
    -Extractors & exhaust upgrade?
    -Detail.
-Brake bleed nipple dust caps. (get some)
-Figure out some sort of sound system (repair/replace)
    -Replace Carpet

That's all I can think of.. (for now atleast!)

For the cost of getting some decent new springs and shocks (around $1200), you might aswell get some coils!

Nice work getting it all sorted Jarred, hope to see this on its tits soon
