Was just tooling about on the Vortex, scanning the Mk1 pic thread for inspiration and came across the pics you posted. Had to look twice at the plates to realize it was this car.

Looks awesome, an aussie car that beats the pants off half the yank cars posted. Nice work that man!!!!

a fuse or ignition switch let go when i was in geelong, so i had to get it towed to golfworx house for quick repaires

You're kidding right? Don't you carry a voltmeter and spare piece of wire? Standard tools in any MK1 toolbox.

Not in my mk1.

I carry only tool's to swap a flat tyre over & a bridging wire for when you need to bridge something obviously! haha
