Are you sure its not citrus red?
I am not 100% sure but I didn't think mars red was a Clayton's colour?

Citrus red is more orange than mars red.
VIN does not list colour.
What is the VIN number anyway?

Wait until you get it home and have a look in the boot for the paint sticker.
i had a mk1 with mars red sticker in the boot, it was red but now is black lol '76 model

I don't think there would of been two reds in Australia.
