When I last did a major service on my golf, I needed to replace the leads due to the old set being worn. I purchased a set from South Yarra VW.
However when this set arrived I found they were all the same length. eg 4 x number 4 lead. As I wanted 4 different lengths like the originals, I sent them back. I then brought a set from Autobarn "Top-Gun" and these fitted and looked like OE parts. 13,000 KLMs later this set was dead with two lead no longer gripping on the spark plugs and causing a misfire. I sent this set back to Autobarn, and they sent them back to Top-Gun and TWO WEEKS later The next set arrived......And I went outside to fit them today, 15th ... And they don't F@#ken fit...They don't grip the plugs nor do the click into the distributor.

What brand does every one else use? Do you have any problems? Are the OE one sill available in 4 sizes?

But most of all why is it a beautiful day for a drive,and the cabriolet been off the road for all most a month. Also the rego bill arrived friday, which means the insurance bill should be here next week......
