They're just wrapped standard control arms. The work is probably by Michael Koordt of K-Tech in Hagen.

Why does it not surprise me that you'd know all about them.

I haven't see or heard anything about your old Golf. Is it being used by it's new owner or put on a display and admired as the piece of art that it is?
