how much is a mk1 worth??(medium to good cond)? have looked at redbook etc,but what are they worth on the open market?? how many different models were released here and what type of major trouble should I look out for?
I would love to find a 3 door but thats as rare as john howard speaking honestly!! hehe!

mate go for anything, as long as it's straight, most common places for rust are on the tailgate. the bottom of the front panels and in the sills.
you can pick them up from anywhere from $150-$5000, just depends what you want

i concur. but if you want a general price range? about $1000-$2000 for something that drives without scariness usually.
