K Jet was nice in it's day (70's and 80's) but can't compare to todays aftermarket computers(microtech, autronic, megasquirt etc) for price, lack of swearing, power, ease of fitting and tuneability. Step into the 21st century.

Gotta admit that I was glad to have the option of running webers on the rally golf. PRC rules state that if the original car was injected, the type of injection must be maintained, that meant that it HAD to be K-Jet to qualify. I expect the webers to be far easier to live with

I think KJet gets bad press. It is a ***** to setup, but once running it just works forever. Real simple and better response and fuel economy than carbies.

I know why you want the webbers Charles, you just like the DUGH noise behind the firewall

I ran CIS on Guner, my competition Golf and never once had any trouble whatsoever. Just kept the system clean, and the beauty with it is that you can adjust the mixture. I used to adjust the flap on raceday, half a turn to prevent "pinging" in the higher rev range. If I didn't do this it would start to ping from 5,500 revs up. On normal setting, I acheived fantastic fuel economy driving round the roads, probably as good as the latest std. GTI

HeHe, maybe... just a little.... OK I admit it, without having to worry about "street-legal" noise levels***, I am looking forward to a lot of barking!!!

We are tested at a stready 4000 rmp and must be under 95dba measured at the zorst end of the car - so it can be way loud at the other end !!
