    Hot Chocolate - 1980 2door MK1

    Hey there gents.

    I bought a mk1 last February 2010, decided to rebuilt her.

    Here is some pics when I bought her. She had some bumps and bruises but I soon started to add my own touches.

    I then fitted 15" Work splits.

    I then turned my attention to the motor.

    Here is my new motor specs:

    2.0 8v ADY
    Baffled sump
    Knife edge crank
    Lightened Fly
    Balanced bottom
    83.5mm Pistons
    Gasflowed head
    35mm Stainless exhaust valves
    288 Schrick cam
    ARP rod bolts
    45mm Precision race itb's
    FFZ box
    Gotech stand alone

    Here I was nearly done with the ICE before I scrapped the idea of having ICE in the car.

    I then fitted Koni coilovers and a set of 7.5j front and 8.5j rear steelies.
    Here is before I sent her for a respray.

    Without the front bumper and spoiler.


    I love the 8.5j rear.


    Look how low my sump is.



    The engine, must still tidy everything up.
