Nostalgia? Yes I suppose you never truly master a 2E2 but after years of trying its difficult not to be nostalgic about them. Good to hear someone is well versed in the ancient art of 2E2 Jimmy!
My Scirocco still runs perfectly through the entire warm up sequence with a 2E2 - variance of less than 50rpm. Its getting tough to keep it that way - no computer downloads on those things!! Dont throw yours away Pi22a. Sounds like its past its best but it may keep another one labouring on!

I love the dark colours that those later cars came in - they looked so smart and really gave them a little more marketable life when the Corrado was stealing the show. Nearly bought a GT2 like that but I had the opportunity to buy new what must have been one of the last Scala's. Sadly some prat stole and torched it 3 weeks after I bought it! Nice Cupra!
