    could be mate but i think you will find the early model brakes are actually beetle units that VW had left over when they started on the Golf production. these are very early brakes

    Nah, Beetle callipers were different and had pads with only a single pin through them.

    Beetles had 3 different pads, I *think* from memory only 1 (maybe 2) of them were the 1 pin type.

    Beetles certainly do have 3 different types of calipers and absolutely no way would any of them fit a Golf... Not in a million years!
