    help

    i was again today working on taking off the inlet manifold. but the cooland hoses that connect to it have no place on the new one. what do i do with all the things that dont connect to the dellortoes like those coolant hoses?

    DO NOT BLANK THEM OFF They must be connected together the same as they are on a 1.6 GTI. You may be able to use the small "U" shaped hose from an early GTI for a neat engine bay look.

    ah so just connect them together? i took the pipes off so i have to reconnect.

    Either that or drive around with the heater on continuously so that the water will flow correctly around the head.

    Yeah a neat U is better than a huge loop. Havin fun with those dellortoes?

    also note there is a restrictor in the coolant line when using the small U shaped pipe. At a guess the hole would be about 10 mm.
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

    If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??
