    Hello from England!!

    As it says, hello
    Found this place by chance

On the hunt for a fellow Mk1 owner who lives in Hong Kong
He's looking for a cabby roof kit (roof + headlining I think) from a good supplier, have you lads got a contact
It might be cheaper than sourcing from the UK etc

On a personal note, I'm a member of the UK Mk1 Owners Club website and my 10 year old lad lives in Helensvale, QLD. Says he's never seen a Mk1 over there and he's been there since Nov 2006! Must have?? Surely??????

I've an '89 Clipper Cab (1.8 carb) Alpine white
Few of us Poms had a meet & treasure hunt yesterday in sunny Lancashire, here's a couple of piccies :

    Regards
    Chris

Here's the best piccy I've got of it (taken about 2 years ago). Since then it's had plenty done to it including new suspension 40mm drop, headgasket & skim, poly-bushed all round, new brakes all round, replaced back axle etc etc . Mechanically sound and had a new roof last month, saving up to have it resprayed this year

"im actually after a small plastic front bar"

    G'day.

Try M&T manufacturing in the US, they do a great OEM and deliver worldwide-really happy with the product.

Also only replace inner if you really must as that is a huge bowl of cash to waste away-the top package with cables is the way to go

Have fun and let me know if you and your friends in UK are after any Mk1 part as I have a little treasure trove under my house.

The Mk1 Cabs aren't as prominent in South-East Queensland s in UK or in southern capitals, I see a few go around the southern suburbs of Brisbane.
