Has anyone fitted GoKraut subframes/cross member braces?

Nothing came up in my VWW search for GoKraut - The Original VW MK1 Crossmember Reinforcement Bar - who build strengthened subframes/cross member braces rated to about 375+ ft lb (i.e. more than enough for a powerful 1.8T'd Mk1 or torquey diesel Mk1s).

They're very well priced compared to most other braces I've been looking at but I haven't got a shipping quote - I was just wondering if anyone in Aus has experience with them?

Maybe if we get some interest and they get more stock in we could arrange a group buy?

Why buy one when it's easy to build one? Here's the instructions on page 8 of Pilks build thread.

If you want to make it stiffer run 2 extra parallel bars back to the body and mount them to a solid point.
