    hard to start when hot

    Hi All,

I have a 2.0l mk3 engine in my mk1 golf - I am having problems after it has run for 5 minutes or more and I switch it off, then go to restart it takes a while for it to finally kick in to life (10 to 20 seconds) Has anyone had this problem before and what areas should I be looking to find out what's going on

    Cheers

AUC-05L checked fuel lines in engine bay - all clear of manifolds and other hot things.

    Fuel injection or carby?

Where in Canberra are you, I could drop in and have a look if you're southside.

    Cheers

Gungahlin isn't too far out of my way - I go down Macs Reef Rd every afternoon to go home.

I'd love to come round and have a look, drop me a PM if you ever have time.

I'll also let you know the next time a few of us MK1 & MK2 guys get together at Goons in Kambah. Usually on a Tuesday night around 6PM.

    Cheers

    Paul
