Yeah, its coming to Perth and can't wait!
I just havent come accross one for ages for sale in Perth, especially 2 door!
So decided to just get it over with and frieght one here.

Yes I am the new owner and will pretty much just maintain it as is, maybe a few minor cosmetics but thats it.
I will post up some nice Pics of it in some picturesque perth landscapes when it arrives.
If any of you Perthians wanna go for a Mk1 or Just VW cruise just let me know.

And if anyone else knows this car relatively well it would be great to hear from you!

Well I can't answer that last question for RedMk2gti,
But I can answerthis one! It was orignally a Golf LS and the engine was rebuilt to GTi spec with higher compression, i am told,
How would they achieve that? I am wondering,
a paint job has now been added along with a few gti cosmetic bits.

Yup its an early car with the kjet conversion.
Higher compression could be from decking the head, or fitting the (heron) head or engine from an early Mk1 GTI.

Only a clone Mario, not a genuine version. They were never sold here in Australia by VW, only imported privately the few that exist. ( same as the Scirocco's, Corrado's etc)
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,
    Grant...
