That is the best answer to a question ever Pete! Nice work as usual.

I have one Genuine GTI front Swaybar sitting around waiting for a worthy car volksee. I dont have the mounting brackets, but it comes with the rubbers.

Hit me up if you want it.

Cheers guys, I asked the same question once and had to figure it out myself.

The only bit of information you're missing is where to drill the front arms for the clamp bolts. I just went by eye, but if you'd like a little more accuracy the new arms come with the holes already drilled.

If you're not using new arms yourself, I could measure mine up for you.

    Bitz

Hey Luke, drop in if its your week off and you can measure and check out all the parts.

The last set of front clamps I got of a wreck in UK. getting hard to find, and as per usual, will likely have to manufacture them in the near future.

I will ask around the UK contacts to see if there are any spares floating about.

.The rear straps are becoming hard to find also.
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

if someone like roccodingo is happy to send me bits to look at (brackets, straps, etc) , i am happy to look into making some of the difficult to find stuff - i'm well set up at work for doing general fab like this stuff.

i dont make money off fellow dubbers, so it would be pretty cheap - just covering material costs and some money to stick in the petty cash tin at work for overheads.

we do lots of mild steel and stainless too.

I got mine with the sway bay, but I'm sure I've seen them for sale somewhere. I'll have to see what I can dig up.

I think the cabbys might have the sway bars too, so if you can find a wreck somewhere you might be lucky.
