    getting inlet manifold off the block

    hey guys,
    finally got all the bolts off the inlet manifold and now the inlet manifold is stuck on the block no matter what ive tried cant get it off...
    HELP.

    How many bolts did you take out? 6 or 8?

    If there are really none left, dont hit it with a hammer use a bit of wood, a sturdy log is best.

    ive tried hitting it with a piece of wood on the end of a sledge hammer and it still hasnt budged.
    any more suggestions?

    Must still have a bolt in..

    well i still got 2 of those double threded bolts left in. i found out how to get them out now so ill get that done and then try again.. thanks mate just got back from an 18th... drank 1.5litres of stella artoise on tap freeee

    stella is good stuff but i prefer a corona, or the good old fashioned cascade draught

    Thought there had to be a bolt in ther somewhere. i`ve been there before.

    so when the other bolts are out smack it straight down? that should work?

    never tried that stuff.... yeh they keep the good stuff for themselves
