Genuine New Roof needed for Mk I convertible

    Guys,

Anyone able to tell me where I can get a new hood fitted for Mk I golf convertible and at what cost?

In Brisbane, but would travel if necessary?

What amount should i allow for this? Also, if electric motor not working, where could I get one fitted?

    Many thanks

Its hard to get a new roof, when the previous owner did the new roof on mine, he had to look overseas and that cost him around $1500 for the new roof delivered

Did you get my PM before?

Anyone got a good link to new Mk I convertible Roof??

I would be most grateful to any decent links for a new mohair Mk I golf convertible roof, black preferably.

    Thanks

the above company in US is where I got my OEM roof from (MTM)

I think I paid about $1250 all up for parts and installation. Make sure you get the kit with cables.

Try All Car Interiors at Windsor for the fit-out. They did my car and it came up great. He has apparently done a few.
