I bought my mk1 convertible six months ago and on the way home could not turn the wipers off.I try moving the handle up and down and every time a left it all the way down position witch look at the time in level were it should be to be turn off but it keeps on coming on and off so at the time i tought one off those untold problems with the car and pull the fuse out and left it as is.I drove a few times in rain without wipers until yesterday that i had to pull over a put a fuse back in.Accidently i put the lever one position up and find out that that is the off position.IS THIS ONLY THIS ONE OR OFF POSITION IS MORE TOWARDS THE TOP I MEAN ITS NOT IN LEVEL OR I GOT IT ALL WRONG.
