    Full clutch and fly wheel replacment $$$$

    Hey just had Quote on a full Clutch and flywheel replacement on my 1986 Mk1/Mk2 Golf LHD Cabriolet at $1200 is this too much?

    That's about right. Would be a lot cheaper if you bought your own parts from the USA, though

    you can source all the parts locally for $400 and that includes a complete installation kit.

    not sure how much labour would be, but that's how much the parts are.

    that's for 210mm clutch & 16v pres plate

    cool cheers for that! yer they said $500 for kits so making 100 off it whats expected and they recon 6-7 hours labour!
