The injector should wind out in a straightforward manner. Maybe you should have a look and see if it is loose and/or possibly wind it out and reseat it?

I have limited exposure to k-et (only done this once) so maybe someone else may chime in with more experience.

How much and where/when is it leaking? Are you able to take a picture for us to help you better?
