Thanks mick, connection looks different so don't think it will work.

I might sound really stupid here but what the hell; I alway thought mine was a k-jet not a ke-jet? What's the obvious differences?

Kjet isn't pure mechanical and no ecu. Ke jet uses an ecu.

VdubEd, if yours is an australian delivered car then i have the used ECU from my JH ( engine code) KE Jetronic ( 1993 Cabrio) I have converted mine back to basic K jet. PM me if your needing it as its only sitting in a box with the harness.

Mick, that ECU that you have is one version of the 16V knockbox. Also comes with the Dizzy TCI unit and some versions with a seperate control for the Idle stabiliser unit. It only controls the timing for the 16V engine.
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,
    Grant...

Thanks Grant. I'll put it up on eBay USA. Did you have the Haltech still?

I will contact you - it is all yours.

ITB and 16V rebuild have come to fruition (over next 6 months) but for ECU I have settled on is Haltech due to the local tuner being a very highly recommended expert in it.

Cracking effort on getting the car running mate.
