It was fixed fora total of 14 hours..

Sooo paid a packet to replace the coil and it worked for the trip home from the mechanic, but the next morning I got up and it wouldn't fire. Could here the click click click click but no growling or even moaning, manage to start it with roll starts but not standing still. It's obviously electrical? Maybe battery? I can not keep forking out money like this for no improvement.

Sounds like the solenoid in starter motor has shot it.
I got a good starter here if you want to try it. (thats if its the same as the 2E ones, dont see why it isnt)

Id start with checking battery condition and maybe if your alternator is charging.
