finally got me a 76 ls a few days ago but yet to pick it up , as the damn brake light wouldnt come on so organising a trailer tomorrow to bring her back into fremantle ,
well what i got is a 2 door with stuff all rust except on the bonnet but the fella had one spare with primer all ready to paint ,
1.8l block with 1.6 head i think , bit unsure
weber carby that fits on side ways facing the fire wall 7 months old
new fuel lines pumps , electric ignition,
and brand new 15 inch 195 rikon rims wich look a bit similar to zender ? are still in the box.
spare head wich is ready to put on , plus heaps of other parts, just need a cam for it and some extracters !!!! any way while i was there he has a 95 vr6 passat with a stuffed starter motor and bbs rims wich look really nice , and all he wants is $500 for it pm me for more info on that , but anyway as soon as i get this golf down here i will put the pics up, then will be after some coilovers , cheers

    congrats mate!

all you need now is a MkIV and a MkV and you'll be set (until the MkVI is released that is).

the vr6 is tempting ...... thats what he had advertised, and i said i was really after a mk1 and he says yeahhh got one hahaha, so thats how the golf came about , its going to be to much work to fit that vr6 in so its up for grabs , the ls is white and has got mk 2 gti or mk 3 steelies on it painted red hehehe , think im going to get some silver on them until i get the tyres for my other rims
