I was thinking the same thing about switching the close ratio gear set over to work with the 4.25 diff, but 110km/h would equal 4800rpm in fifth! That's a little too over the top for my liking. I think the 6Y as is will do the trick.

Motor is in. Achievement unlocked!
One blurry photo to prove it. To be fair it was about 2:00am at this point so I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the camera's focus.
Oil cooler looking all sick up the front.
We finished painting some bits and pieces before that.
Gave the radiator a light coat of black to cover up the old yellow overspray
Put new tie rods in. Passenger side rack boot arrived at work today so I'll whack that on and do up the rack ends tonight.
Sitting and waiting. We did a lot of cleaning up after that. The plan for tonight is to put the control arms and all that stuff back in, move the coilovers across and the slotted brakes. We might do the fuel setup as well if we can. After that I'll clean up some of the engine wiring and basically call it a day until I get back from Japan.
Can anyone recommend a place in Sydney that repairs/services instrument clusters? I want to get the MK2 gauges looked at because the odometer isn't working and the clock can't be set.
