electric window switch needed / alternator output volts?

i need 1 window switch for a mk1 cab. and wondering if are they a mk2 item.
anyone know where's best to source one from.
also, the alternator is only just charging at 13v, would this be consistent with worn brushes?

    You have electric windows?

    My MK2 doesn't.

Not MK2 switches, I guess aftermarket. Whats the connections on the back look like?

Could be the brushes. Are you going straight across the battery? Could also be a bad connection somewhere.

yes, but on closer inspection, it must be aftermarket if that was possible.

there are some sort of blank plate where the winders go.
the face plate for the switches has the switch plate plastic welded in, and the centre gauge cutout in the console has been butchered.
and all the wiring is home/shop done. guess it must be retro fitted from something?
voltage was taken across the battery, so will check from the alternator tomorrow. battery holds 12.65v, and running between 12.85 / 13v, varying the revs makes no difference

Thats an Electric Life window kit. I guess the switches died and they have been replaced.
