So I just knocked this up on dubmodder..

Tell me what you think.. It would look a lot nicer IRL.

black looks better than the yellow.

yellow suits the euro 'look' more imo.

Did they have a similar westy front for the mk2?

I remember my mate had a mk1 jetta front on his mk1 and it also adds a different flavour to the table. this was back in 1992!

You will Probably have more luck finding that front end than the westy....
dont have a pic of it here......but it looked real nice.

Both look good but yeah, the one without the indicators look $$$. The yellow one you mocked up in Dubmodder wouldn't be too far out from the ideal modified Mk1 I would have!

That second one there is a mk2.
Loon, I will take a grill off you mate, the one in my caddy has square holes in it and I would rather have slots.
Jarred, mine is an 11/80 model. I( had better do some research eh?? !!

I only have the lights mate, the US sciroccos had square lights, whilst the UK ones were rectangular. I bet the square lights are the same as the westy golf ones.

It'd be worth finding out. I don't know the exact details of all teh westmoreland thing. I spose you're being a late '80 may have been one of the first late westy models perhaps?

Let me know how you go, its all very interesting

Heres a early yellow westy. Not exactly the same colour but gives you an idea
