    yeah i suppose it has a lot to do with the digipants having to deal with the lame cam they come stock with, and the lame excuse for an exhaust. looking at that torque curve, its pretty clear that there's nothing fundamentally wrong with the RV itself.

    its a single DHLA 40 sidedraft on a lynx m150 manifold. the car runs electronic ignition too, and has a mk1 gti exhaust manifold and downpipes, and 2" homemade the rest of the way back.

    carbs never been professionally tuned either, but it runs well enough (though a little thirsty at about 10l/100km.)

    and its running crappy foam sock air filters.

    Now im curious as to what my engine would do! It did 66kwatw in Doms cab with Kjet
