Went to a local car show on the weekend (very local, as it is 300m down the road!).
When I was painting the engine bay I also restored and matched a vintage chilly bin which I got from my wife's Grandma.
Would the twin downpipe (Euro manifold) off a MK3 suit?
It's already 20 mm longer and flows pretty good.
Car is looking good and I'm envious of your engine - that's what I want to put in my MK2.
Cheers
Paul

What do you mean "vintage"?
I remember when they came out.

First time on a track for Andy. I entered the Maserati Trident Day at Sandown which was on Sunday. It was also Round 2 of the Victorian Supersprint Championship.
The day was SO WET! Still managed to get 4 good sessions on track. There was a total of 6 laps where it wasn't raining/drying and my best lap was 1.47 which placed me provisionally 3rd in class.
I missed the last session as the joint between the headers and the rest of the exhaust came undone and it sounded like a tractor. Its annoying as that is the one part of the car where I paid someone to do the job and it is the part that failed.....I also didn't have it on my pre-race checklist as something to check, but will definitely add it now.
and some car porn.....can't believe this was in the same class
You got 3rd in class against that?

Haha. No the Ferrari was not in my class (weird humour, sorry)
My class was full of Clio cups, new mini and fiesta
My confirmed place was 4th.
As an aside the clios make a superb track car. Dirt cheap and ready to go out of the box. Heaps of spares in the uk......I was quite swayed by the Phase II
That's still not bad, 4th in that sort of company.
