Drivers side engine mount bracket types?

I recently bought the hd engine mount kit for my mk1 from tectonics tuning.
After comparing the mount sizes I realized that the tt mount is too big! There's a difference of something like 7-10mm between the two.
Any any help as to where I could locate the larger bracket?

Diesel mount is different but can be cut down to suit.

Later MK1 cabrios had them too.

You should buy the mount including the bracket. GTI or 16v scirocco. They are both different diameters to the one you have. If you get it complete, it's much easier. Do tectonics till sell the upgraded mount complete?

I'm fairly sure that i require the diesel sized mount. Given that it's a mk3 1.8 engine, i'll have to modify whatever I use.
The techtonics kit only has mounts and no bracket
Now to find a wrecking diesel...
