been an epicly long time since ive updated...and i come bearing pretty depressing news, car had a bit of a slip yesterday and hit a guard rail, front quarter is goooooooone and the front bumper isnt it best shape. Got a new guard and bumper lined up already though. Big thanks to Al (alex g) as this happened as i was on my way to him to get my guards rolled and it couldnt have happened at a better time, al worked his magic on the damage and wow is he handy with a welder. Hoping to meet up with him sometime this week to get the guard on and a little further fabrication, anyone in NSW needing fabrication work use al he's crazy good.

Looks like it'll be tought realligning the front two quarters and the bonet but ill keep all of you posted as i wanna be rocking this at the summer cruise and also down to sedf, may be with a rat panel but could be alot worse!

heres some photos of the damage and also some teaser pics of whats to come...

Picked these up for a bargain but dw hopefully they'll be getting some lovely new trim!!!

My favourite ill try and get some teaser fitment shots by the end of this week.

Wish my POS was clean and red.

How's effed is the front bumper? If it's just a lil bent, they're easy to straighten out with a bit of care, some wood blocks and a BFH.

Poored rain here today. Power understeer weather FTW!

yeah surprisingly this was epic oversteer from taking a corner way too casually!

the front bumber is just squashed on one side where it hit, im not too worried bout that like i said got one lined up...

my biggest concern i cant stop thinking about is realligning the two front quarters and the bonnet! had a go at putting on a quarter yesterday and it was over hanging at the fron way too much for my liking. so im jus hoping all can help me get the new one on nice and flush painting etc doesnt phase me too much i just want it to line back up how it was before

Happy to help brother, lucky you where heading to my shop ehh. Doms talking down the damage a little too,( must have been the ease In which i turned it around. Lol) the inner wing/engine bay was ripped of the strut tower and torn half way down a few inches back from the slam panel. Bonnet shunted 60mm odd to the driverside pushing out the ds wing too. Ps wing was all over the place along with the bumper and most of the front right of the car.

yeah your correct al but what you did in those few hours wow dude! I just hope you can help me get it reddy for sedf man.the front apron looks like it needs to be shunted forward as it was pushed back n I can tell the bonnets gonna be tough to reallign with everything else. You think you could tackle it one night this week?I'll get off work early n come down if your available

Sounds like you need a porta power diagonally across the engine bay.

Bentley manuals have the engine bay dimensions.

This is for a 2 door but I'm pretty sure the engine bay dimensions are the same.

Yer I have a porta-pack hoping it's not that serious , the biggest plus is the frame rail doesn't look to have moved .another bonus is the hinge for the hood was ripped out ( previously repaired badly )
