do mk 2 seats fit a mk1 golf

i have been offered a set of porsche gt3 seats at a good price with mark 2 runners will mk2 golf runners fit straight in a mk1

Yep on the front but, in a MK1 they might be a touch high depending on how they modified them.

I went custom runners on my GT3's... because they have no adjustment you need to set them up right.

Mk2 runners will actually sit a tad low in a mk1. mk1 runners in my mk2 make my head hit the roof.

thanks benny , low would be good as gt3's sit pretty high ive heard .....hurry up and get back to aus for some golfin tin's and spanners !
