different locks on mk1

i have come across that some early mk1 have different locks/handles than later models.

i would like to upgrade the locks to later model.is it possible?
the handles on early ones are hold by one screw and later ones by two screws.

The top ones are later model versions while the bottom ones are 76er versions.

Anything is possible, but I'm fairly confident you'll need to upgrade to a later door assembly due to the different mounting's & holes.

Just came across the same deal, the early doors wont accommodate the later locks

Yup, match the locks you need to the doors you have.
Early Drivers doors handles are getting rarer.
