hey mate,
20A isnt enough, but you can get a 40A circuit breaker from supercheap that works really well. You'll also need a relay rated for 50A. Its up to you how you want to switch it.
If you buy the actual glow plug relay, you can hook it up with all your own wiring exaclty as factory intended so they will work with the key and at the right temperature. I have all the circuit diagrams, its pretty straighforward. That would be the best option in my opinion. Basically the facotry relay just takes some inputs from the temp sender on the end of the head and the ignition switch, and it also has its own timer circuit and outputs for the warning light.
