    Defect question

Hey guys, got defected for ride height. Not complaining as the car is crazy low.

My question is with regards to the process of clearing it. Is it a matter of getting a complete roadworthy (i.e. check over the whole car) to clear this or perhaps only get vicroads to simply clear the ride height issue?

AFAIK the defect was only for the ride height. Atm I havent got time to scratch myself so I thought I'd quickly post on here before I left work. I'll have a search through vicroads when I get home (by which time hopefully one of you smart peeps would have an answer for me )

PS I really hope this doesnt require a complete roadworthy (*please please please*).

    Any help appreciated guys!

It should just require the ride height to be restored to a legal height.

Just sort the ride hight and take it to vicroads so they can check it.

Hey mate it should be noted on your defect notice whether a RWC is required or not. But as the others have mentioned im fairly sure you just need put it back to stock height and take it into Vic Roads. Generally speaking they only inspect what you have been defected and leave it at that. Hope that helps

but yeah, sort the ride height out, get someone to check it and write you a roadworthy pass for ride height and away you go (hopefully)

All you have to do if its just a single defect ie Height. Raise it and go to VicRoads and a person will check and remove your sticker. If its a major dfect you need a roadie.

    Thanks guys for the replies.

Just read the notice for the first time and it turns out its just a height defect. Although in the notice it does state that the springs need changing (dont think the officer was aware it had coilovers). Anyway, will post pics of defect notice and when its back to its low ride height
