Hey guys,
Yes i did get it home, 4a, this morning and to top it off i was having a migrane so i miss DoVW too :S:S:S:S:S:S
At this point im not sure what im going to do with the car i might just wreck it or strip everything good from it and start looking again
ah wells what can ya do
Sorry to hear that dude!
As Pete said, swap in a bigger and beefier engine!
PS: how's the interior? Can I swap drivers seats with you if you want to get rid of it?
Serious, just drop in an 1800, they sell for $350-$550 any day of the week and they transform the car.
The motor is about the easiest thing to fix on a Mk1, don't loose heart !

Find out the cost of repairs before you make any decisions. Maybe it won't be that much.
All older cars give grief when first brought. According to my Golf Owners manual I purchased at DOVW your 0-100 time
will be around 18 seconds, and on to a top speed of near 140! - Think of the fun you'll have with that!
Best of luck
Michael
