    It's a piece of piss drive down the Hume, plenty of traffic to take you to the next town if need be. Should do it easy

    Blew the head just outside albury did 400 odd km then this... Suggestion keep sell strip or go all out - sinking piss at the local and suprise to suprise theres strippers here! god doesnt close a door without opening a window haha

    Hey guys,

    Yes i did get it home, 4a, this morning and to top it off i was having a migrane so i miss DoVW too :S:S:S:S:S:S
    At this point im not sure what im going to do with the car i might just wreck it or strip everything good from it and start looking again

    As Pete said, swap in a bigger and beefier engine!

    PS: how's the interior? Can I swap drivers seats with you if you want to get rid of it?

    Serious, just drop in an 1800, they sell for $350-$550 any day of the week and they transform the car.

    The motor is about the easiest thing to fix on a Mk1, don't loose heart !

    Find out the cost of repairs before you make any decisions. Maybe it won't be that much.

    All older cars give grief when first brought. According to my Golf Owners manual I purchased at DOVW your 0-100 time

    will be around 18 seconds, and on to a top speed of near 140! - Think of the fun you'll have with that!
