My girlfriend and I absolutely love our 1.5D. It has all new steering and suspension including king springs and GTI swaybars, a decent exhaust and a 5 speed box from a seat cordoba (PERFECT RATIOS FOR THE 1.5D!!!). I cannot recommend this setup enough. My plans for the car include driving it all the time and regular maintenance/incremental tweaks and upgrades, maybe one day new paint, maybe after that a turbo.

If you absolutely need more power then buy a 1.9SDI motor off golf loon. These motors are non turbo, but the block and head are identical to the turbo motors so all you will need is to source the inlet/exhaust, turbo, oil feed and drain etc.

Damn, that's lucky! Saves you some stuffing around when you possess it.
